The CSA is your undergraduate student association at the University of Guelph | Local 54 of the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS) | @csaguelph
The Central Student Association (CSA) is your voice at the University of Guelph to advocate on your behalf.
We aim to work towards positive change on student issues across the country through lobbying efforts, advocacy, events and organizing on a local, provincial, and federal level. As local 54 of the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS), we work in partnership with other university unions, with the understanding that together we have more strength than apart. We also provide you with space to connect with your peers through various clubs and events, and offer cost saving services.
The CSA is comprised of a Board of Directors, Executive Commissioners and over 80 full- and part-time staff.
The CSA Board of Directors includes representatives from the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences Student Alliance (CSAHS-SA), the College of Arts Student Union (CASU), the College of Management and Economics Student Association (CMESA), the College of Physical and Engineering Sciences Student Council (CPESSC), the College of Biological Sciences Student Council (CBSSC), the Student Federation of the Ontario Agricultural College (SFOAC) and the Central Veterinary Students’ Association (CVSA).
Other groups with seats on the Board of Directors include Interhall Council (IHC), Guelph Queer Equality (GQE), the Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG), the CJ Munford Centre, Student Senate Caucus (SSC), the Guelph Resource Centre for Gender Empowerment and Diversity (GRCGED), the Guelph Campus Co-op (GCC), the International Students Organization (ISO) and an undergraduate representative from the Board of Governors.
